The Murray Premises Hotel’s Clean and Safe program has introduced a new standard of hotel cleanliness and disinfection to ensure you enjoy an even cleaner and safer stay! Our Clean and Safe program builds upon already high standards of housekeeping and hygiene, including but not limited to:

Masks and Other Protective Equipment
  • Counter shields have been installed at the front desk.
  • All guests are required to wear a non-medical mask or a face covering while in all common areas of the hotel including: lobby, front desk area, hallways, elevators, public washrooms, guest lounge and business center. If you are exempt from wearing non-medical masks, please wear a face shield in lieu of non-medical mask/face covering. If you are unable to adhere to the above restrictions we will unfortunately be unable to guarantee your reservation. Disposable masks are available for guests at the front desk upon request.

Increased cleaning of public areas and frequently-touched surfaces such as lobby, elevator buttons, door handles, public washrooms, etc.

Social Distancing

During your stay, please be mindful of other guests and staff and maintain 6 feet of distance at all times.

Hotel Services and Amenities

For your safety, some services and amenities such as in-room items, restaurants or daily housekeeping may be modified or suspended. Housekeeping will not enter your space one the room is occupied. If you require anything replenished during your stay, such as towels and toiletries, you are welcome to contact the front desk 24 hours a day on your in-room phone. Guests staying 4 or more days can qualify for on-demand housekeeping by scheduling a time/day for housekeeping to enter your room during your stay at the front desk.

Proof of Vaccination

As per Government of Newfoundland and Labrador regulations, as of October 22, 2021, people ages 12 and older must be fully vaccinated or have an approved medical exemption in order to access certain businesses and environments, under requirements made by the Chief Medical Officer of Health.

As many of the offerings included as part of a guest stay at our hotel require us to check a person’s COVID-19 vaccination record for access, we will now be requiring that all hotel guests have proof of vaccination as part of our check-in procedures.

Residents of Newfoundland Labrador can use the NLVaxPass App, in addition to a valid ID, at our Front Desk during check-in.  Out of province visitors can show proof of vaccination by means of a paper copy of your records, or digital copies, along with a valid ID.

Visitors to the hotel seeking out one of the independent restaurants on site will be required to show proof of vaccination to the team at these establishments as per provincial regulations.

Visitors to the hotel frequenting any retail establishments may visit those shops under the COVID guidelines set forth by these businesses in their space.  However, should any of these clientele avail of any of our hotel services or public areas you will be asked to provide proof of vaccination.

Guests visiting our hotel for meetings and events will also need to show proof of vaccination, and our team will work with the convenors of any events to ensure this process is carried out as per public health guidelines.
